Come and see yourself. Or, better yet, don't come. Vilnius is
indeed a fine city, the problem, and its getting its steam up now
are the tourists. I live on a narrow Old Town street, and when
two groups, one coming, one going, colide, the only thing
is to lean against a wall and wait. The time to look at Vilnius
is in the morning. Need not be particularly early. If its on
a week end, most of the Lithuanians are off to the
country, the tourists have not yet had their breakfast
and the city is indeed empty. Delieghtful.
