I am more concerned about those vegetarian gun-banning old hippies
ruining biathlon. I can see them intefering with the competitors
before the start, offering them to exchange their guns for roses, and
secretly pulling out meat, fish, eggs and cheese out of their lunch
sandwiches. Is there some meat- or fish-oil in the ski wax these days?
If so - hippies will scrape it off the competitors' skis as well. The
only hope is that these old hippies will be too mellow after smoking
dope with the snowboard competitors to make it to the biathlon venue.
- you're right. the hippies will be there. it is very trendy to protest
the
olympics these days and i don't expect much different in 2010. they will
have to compete with anti-war (if it's still going), anti-globalist,
anti-poverty, and native groups for the spotlight though.
