Pakistan seeking early harvest pact with Bangladesh

Pakistan has been trying to strike a deal of early harvest with Bangladesh
for
some years, without success. The trade between the two countries could
provide a
degree of competition which may ease prices of  food grains. So far India
is
enjoying a virtual monopoly. It will also benefit Pakistan as operating at
a
higher level, she could  produce a bit cheaper. But political
considerations and
bureaucratic hurdles
so far have kept it from becoming a reality.
