TOMORROW: The INDEPENDENCE OF BRITTANY?
When one evokes the independence of Brittany, the frequently put
question is this one: can a country of so reduced surface live? Can it
be economically viable?
It is easy for us to answer this question by another question. Are
countries and nations of size quite as reduced like Switzerland,
Austria, Holland, Denmark, Iceland... economically viable? If they are
not it, how make they to live, certain with standards of living which
put their people, socially and individually, among richest of the
world!
Brittany has considerable assets: wealth of its ground and the its
seas, forgetting the many resources of which it is actually provided,
and abundance, natural resources which one claims that it misses. And
this other richness, by far most im****tant: determination of Breton to
undertake and succeed.
It is useful to point out the position of leader of Brittany in Europe
in the agricultural and agro-alimentary field.
Is it useful to recall that Brittany, with its 2000 kilometers of
coasts, benefit of potential resources of extraordinary richnesses?
The sea offers to Brittany all these possibilities.
The situation of Brittany east in fact single and if with all its
assets it could not live, one would need really which the Breton ones
are least that nothing!
All things considered, it no reason to admit there that independent
Brittany is too small to be economically viable. It is well rather
large and enough rich person to produce that which its people need.
With independence and the freedom which it involves thereafter,
Brittany obligatorily will reach economic prosperity and the good
social being. Sovereignty, within the framework of Europe and of an
interdependence with the other European Nations, will make it possible
to the Breton people to suitably direct his economic life, on which it
is today without capacity.
Never let us forget that Brittany was independent, rich and propère,
during nearly 1000 years.
