Making every vote count

by habshi@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (habshi) Feb 10, 2008 at 12:06 AM

Pro****tional representation means that every vote counts.
Hiliary should have campaigned in Illinois and cut down on Obama's
lead there . Delegates are allocated on the number of votes won in
each state . India too needs to adopt this fairer system , as is the
rule in all of Europe apart from UK.

excerpt
The Clinton campaign team anticipates that she will lose her lead in
the delegate count this month but is banking on her regaining the lead
in the mega-states of Texas and Ohio on March 4 and Pennsylvania on
April 22. It will be psychologically and symbolically im****tant for
Obama to take the lead after trailing for so long, albeit not by much.
He is already ahead of his rival in fundraising.
