As for his mode of dress for his return, of course some of it was for PR.
Personnel fly on RAF aircraft in various forms of uniform or in civvies,

provided it is 'appropriate' then little would be said. And of course he
didn't travel the whole way wearing body armour but there was speculation
that now that his service in-theatre has been revealed he could be at
increased risk in the UK and no doubt additional precautions will be taken
to combat that. Damn how some of you people like to spout on things you so
obviously know F All about!
