Umm.. I was going to say "yeah" (and I mean yeah) except that I don't
see a political party mentioned in the text to which you replied.

Yeah, the political left have their way of sup****ting cor****ate
interests
while getting their ****tion of the rabble to chear. For the life of
me
I don't understand the m***** and their blinders. The political right
seem to have their ways as well.

Obama said last week that his average donation was $100 or less.
Others said that most of his money came from those donating $2,500
or more. Both can be true. While I sup****t Obama I withhold
judgement
concerning the extent his oppinions are affected by his major donors.
Maybe Obama has just found another way to get the rabble, including
me, to cheer while having my pockets picked.

Still, the alternatives seem much worse.

$4 a barrel is happening quite fast. Ethanol may affect food prices.
As long as these things aren't happening because of subsidies then
it's
just part of natural markets. Shortages and overages indicate price
fixing but subsidies just ****ft the observed demand as felt by
suppliers
or supply as felt by consumers.

***
The CEO of Sysco Foods believes that 25% of food inflation is due to the
goverment's ethanol subsidies. A large chunk of the rest is oil, of
course.

And yet, monitizing externalities can look like subsidies to those who
know no better.
