They should face criminal courts like anyone else who breaks the law.
There should be no special rules just normal due process. However how
can anyone expect a proper investigation into a criminal case around
the garda when that case is investigated by the garda. This is the
biggest form of corruption in the garda is turning a blind eye to
speeding fines and other smaller offences etc cmitted by officers.
Cases like Shortts and the McBrearty's are few and far between.
