The current debate over oaths of allegiance and UK citizen****p reminds
me eerily of _Mein Kampf_, where Hitler proposed drawing a distinction
between subjects of a State (for instance those merely born there) and
full citizen****p, granted only after school graduation, military
service, swearing a solemn oath, etc.
