Fair enough; they're not _all_ medieval regressionists, and we
shouldn't tar them all with the same brush.
Would you say that the spread of islam within the west poses no threat
to western culture, values, crime rates, freedoms and democracy?
Are modern islamic states pillars of innovation, success, and personal
freedom; or are they, in fact, theocratic regimes and economic
basket-cases (aside from oil cash) with a penchant for severe human
rights abuses?
Are English muslims, of whom nearly half want shariah law for the UK,
different to, say, non-religious whites who wish to maintain secular
democracy?
