Nope. There is nothing like that. La Brocquiere simply has caled the land 
between Philippopolis and Adrianopolis
"Macedonia" and the local people - "Macedonians" regardless their ethnos. 
When speaking of ethnic specifics in the chief town of that land he makes
it 
clear that the majority of the population were Bulgarians.
Poor Zhivko, you should be glad that Byzantium did not create a thema 
Mekedonikon in Africa for isntance - then you would have see Macedonians 
from the negroid race. .....
