The "Generals" Are "Cleanin' Up!"
For the ruling "generals" of Burma, Tropical Cyclone Nargis is just
what the executioner ordered!
Whether you believe the "storm" horror stories trickling out of Burma
(Myanmar if you're with the junta), there can be little doubt that
slow and No reponse to civilian woes by the the ruling "party" IS
INTENTIONAL, an easy way to rid the poor nation of some of its people,
most of which the generals would prefer dead. Whether by cyclone or
gunfire, fifteen-thousand wiped out means 15,000 less dissident
complainers about the wrenching poverty and violent repression 95
percent of the population endures.
And with a RIGGED constitutional "referendum" already over before it's
begun, fear and poverty will be Burma's lot for the foreseeable
future. Because there appears to be no country or international
organization willing or capable of helping the imprisoned citizens.
And even if the U.S. (Bush) was willing to contribute more than
$250,000 to the relief effort, chances are better than excellent that
the money'd be scooped up by the criminal generals for their personal
use.
Certainly, the Burmese populace cannot count on rogue CHINA, where the
commies are best buddies with the dictatorial generals of Burma, er --
Myanmar.
