The Dec 2004 tsunami swelled the pockets of many Indonesian and Indian
officials handling donations. Likewise, Cyclone Nargis will benefit only
Burmese officials. By now donor countries should have learnt that it would
be foolish to give any monetary donations to the greedy military junta.
What
should be donated are medicine, drinking water, blankets, food and the
likes. Strictly NO CASH.
