The US did not come up with the 100,000 death toll figure. It was
re****ted as "potentially 100,000" and the caveats are - people can and
will die from exposure to disease outbreaks and lack of aid in
devastated areas.

Try to read those newsre****ts carefully. And if I were you, I won't
trust the Burmese Junta's numbers too much.
