There are 351 people in this forum. So, most folks are mainly readers.
A lot of Cambodian people also use several other forums, mainly
camdisc which can be rowdy. So, if you want more excitement, you
should subscribe to camdisc. I had been there for almost 3 years. In
the early 2004, I was involved in the development of a project which
was then highly contentious. It was suggested to take it offline and
that's what I did. The project is still alive but I did not go back to
camdisc.
In fact, these 2 forums complement each other. This group is more
news. The other is more discussion driven. It's also more local to
Khmer people. SCC is more open to outside groups.
Sok sabay chea te. arkun chreun. You were talking about empire
building. We're hardly surviving these days. After the advent of His
Majesty Jayavarman VII in the 13th century, the Khmer empire
disappeared. Some was given to Laos, More pieces had been gone to
Thailand. A lot more was taken by Vietnam.
As for me, I move on to the internet. It's a world of virtualization.
There's no physical reality to it. It exists only in the imagination.
