Delegation from Mexico's Labor Party Concludes Visit to Cuba
Havana, Oct 2 (acn) Cuban Vice President Carlos Lage met with a
delegation of the Mexican Labor Party headed by its national
coordinator Alberto Anaya Gutierrez that concluded a six-day visit to
the island.
The delegation visited Cuba from September 23rd to the 29th at the
invitation of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC).
During their stay on the island, they met with the President of the
Cuban Parliament Ricardo Alarcon and with the head of the Foreign
Relations Department at the PCC's Central Committee, Fernando Remirez
de Estenoz, and with other government and party high-ranking officials.
The delegation visited places of social interest in Havana linked to
the urban agriculture, public health and education sectors.
