The Kennedy brothers - The Same Conspiracy?

The CIA, and Italian- and Cuban-American mafiosi suspected of having
participated in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy are also
thought to have been involved in that of his brother Robert. In early
2007, the BBC in London and The Guardian published footage and
photographs resulting from the investigations of filmmaker Shane
OSullivan, showing the unusual appearance of three highly placed CIA
functionaries in the Los Angeles Ambassador Hotel where RFK, a U.S.
Senator and candidate in the upcoming November elections, was
assassinated June 5, 1968.
They were Gordon Campbell, chief of maritime operations against Cuba;
George Joannides, chief of psychological warfare; and David S!nchez
Morales, chief of special operations.
The re****t reveals that the operatives and four associates, yet to be
identified, were in the Hotel Ambassador at the time of the
assassination of Robert F. Kennedy despite the fact that, "the CIA has
no domestic jurisdiction and some of the agents were based in Southeast
Asia and had no reason to be in Los Angeles."
Robert Kennedy had just won the California primaries with a program
similar to his brothers and was expected to face Richard Nixon in the
general elections. The alleged perpetrator of the crime, Palestinian
Sirhan Sirhan, was arrested with a gun in his hand in the kitchen
pantry where the attack occurred. Sirhans attorney, Lawrence Teeter,
called for a new trial based on evidence concealed by the prosecutor
during the trial, such as the autopsy re****t, which revealed that the
fatal shot came from behind at distance of only one to three inches,
maximum. Sirhan was at a distance of 1.5- 5 feet from Kennedy. There
were more bullet holes in the door frame at the scene of the crime than
shots fired from Sirhans weapon, lending credence to the thesis, as in
the case in the JFK assassination, that there was more than one person
firing. The door frame in question was destroyed, as was a second gun
taken by the Los Angeles police, but the defense was never notified.
Additionally, a security guard admitted that he was standing in direct
contact with the Senators back and that he threw himself down when he
heard the shots and pulled his revolver. Another witness ignored by the
police, according to the attorney, stated that he saw the guard fire.
This weapon was never examined despite the fact that the autopsy showed
bullet wounds to the body angled upward, as if they had been produced
by shots from below. Jaime Scott Enyert, who photographed the event,
was arrested, his camera and film confiscated.
The most im****tant of the CIA officers in the photographs and video
identified by witnesses was Morales, a heavy drinker, who once told
close friends, "I was in Dallas when we got the s.o.b. and in Los
Angeles when we got the little bastard."
Morales was identified based on a photo taken in Cuba in 1959, where he
had been working for the CIA in the embassy since 1958. He was
associated with David Atlee Phillips, who maintained ties with the U.S.
nickel industry there. In Havana, he sup****ted the Batista dictator****p
and both agents had participated in the 1954 CIA overthrow of Arbenz in
Guatemala. In 1963 they were assigned to plot the assassination of the
Cuban president, from JM Wave in Miami, the major CIA station of the
era. They were also involved in the 1973 coup d(c)tat in Chile, where
they helped Pinochet in his campaign against President Salvador Allende
and the vicious repression that followed.
Tom Clines, also a chief at JM Wave, described Morales as "a legend in
almost all of the CIAs undercover operations, always linked to the
principal actors in this group that did the dirty work," particularly
Ted Shackley, second in command of special operations for George Bush
Senior. Morales worked with F(c)lix Rodrguez in the campaign against and
assassination of Che Guevara in 1967 and later in Operation Condor in
South America where he was involved in a number of murders.
Another JM Wave CIA operative, Bradley D. Ayers, identified S!nchez
Morales, Campbell and Joannides in the film footage and revealed in a
1994 letter that these three and many others from JM Wave had "intimate
operational knowledge of the cir***stances surrounding the
assassination of President Kennedy."
Ayers additionally mentioned Shackley, Clines and F(c)lix Rodrguez as
involved, along with Grayston Lynch, Rip Robertson, Edward Roderick and
Tony Sforza.
Morales, who feared an attempt on his life from his "own people," died
from a suspicious heart attack the day before he was to testify before
the House Select Committee that was investigating the Kennedy
assassination.
Although key CIA do***ents have yet to be declassified, according to
the 1978 Congressional investigation they would shed light on the
conspiracy theory and its protagonists. The evidence points to the same
suspects in the case of Robert F. Kennedy, 44 years after the
presidential assassination.
