Belarus President Lukashenka to visit Venezuela this month

Alyaksandr Lukashenka will visit Venezuela before the end of this 
year, Pavel Lyohki, spokesman for the Belarusian leader, told BelaPAN.

"The visit will take place in early or mid-December," he said. "I
cannot yet say when the specific date of the departure will be set."

An exhibition of Belarusian-made goods will be held in the Venezuelan 
capital of Caracas between December 6 and 10. According to the Latin 
American country's embassy in Minsk, Venezuela will bear all
trans****tation expenses and plans to buy all products to be displayed
at the show.

The Belarusian embassy is expected to be opened in Venezuela in the
near future. The country's charge d'affaires has already arrived in
Caracas, but the date of the diplomatic mission's  opening is not yet
known, Maryya Vanshyna, a spokeswoman for the  Belarusian foreign
ministry, told BelaPAN.
