I don't know how many % of NASA staff are Indians but I do know that
when the first ethnic Indian astronaut, a female, flew in her first
shuttle mission, many Indian racists and chauvinists were asking if a
Chinese had done it. The truth is, one Chinese by the name of
Frederick Wang had been on a shuttle mission way before her. During
her mission, she was supposed to operate a robotic arm to retrieve a
satellite. She botched the job. We know how much that cost NASA. If
this was bad, worse was yet to come. Her next mission turned into a
disaster. It was the Columbia that returned in shred. It was hinted
that she was briefly given command of the ****p before the disaster
occurred. Of course, Indians would not want to know about this.
