They had their "Tiananmen Square Massacre" right in the center of
China's government.  Do you think they really care about world opinion
when the power of the CCP is challenged?  The world had their
sanctions, and embargos on China in the 80s and 90s, and yet China
sailed quietly through it all, and came stronger than ever.  They have
built on within itself.  They had responded to the world:  "Who give a
damn".
