China's 1.3 billions are 90 per cent Han and Tibetans are a
micro-minority. No problemo.
Interesting. I looked up the National Geographic's Atlas of China
(ed. 2008) and Lhasa comes up with a population of 122,300. Pshaw,
that barely fills a football stadium (avg 140,000 seats.) Currently
the Tibet authorities are conducting a house to house search for
rioters. Its a much smaller and easier job than I first imagined.
Lhasa is a small town in the middle of a rock pile. There is nowhere
to hide, no where to run.
