Well that's little surprise to me. Lamaism doesn't have much
resemblance to the mainstream Buddhism. To be short: Buddist monks are
restricted from eating animal flesh, drinking, marriage and lying,
etc, while Lamas are free to do any of those. The Lamaism system is
filled up with sorcery and local demons, largely inherited from
Bonism. Calling it sort of Buddhism sounds rather worrying to me...
Any person who bothers to pick up a history book about Lamaism would
see how intimately it has been related to politics. So Dalai Lama is
evoking this or that riot, isn't that fully expectable? Lamas are
ought to do some politics, that's in their blood.
