Hilter invaded Poland. But Germany could not keep Poland. In contrast,
China is keeping Tibet. A big difference. No? Hilter did evil things.
China did not athough it had its share of failed policies.

Tell that to the Tibetans

A Chinese historian, Bo Yang who is loved by Chinese haters because
his fmous book "THE UGLY CHINAMAN, had discovered the "thirty years
law" about Chinese hisotry. A regime which took over the whole or a
large part of China would either failed before 30 years or it would
last much longer.

Every Chinese dynasty or new adminstration has to adapt to the
situation. If it cannot adapt, it would fail. The government cannot
govern based on force only. Force or terror can be effective for a
short time. But it canot sustain for years. So in order to continue,
the government has to sstisfy the needs of the poeple. Why the
threahold of thirty 30 years? Well, after 30 years, a large percentage
of the population would be grow up under the new government, many of
them will identify themselves with the government. This allows the
government to withstand shocks which it otherwise cannot bear.

No matter how the international community see China. The Tibetans who
are living in Tibet are the people and the Chinese at large who have
the final say on whether China can keep Tibet.
