A close associate ....
And friend of the Clintons, Governor Bill Richardson, fellow
presidential aspirant, threw down the gauntlet and announced
his endorsement of the junior senator from Illinois. It is a
shock-and-awe notice to his fellow Democrats that it is time
to circle the wagon as a party and close rank behind Senator
Obama.
To him, the junior senator is a once-in-a-lifetime leader.
That is capable of bringing the nation together, and restore
America’s moral leader****p in the world. In his words, Gov.
Richardson said, “As a presidential candidate, I know full
well Senator Obama’s unique moral ability to inspire the Am-
erican people to confront our urgent challenges at home, and
abroad in a spirit of bipartisan****p and reconciliation.” He
praised the junior senator's judgment, by opposing the Iraqi
war from the beginning, and during this campaign by standing
up for a new era in American leader****p internationally. The
words, coming from an old hand in international affairs and
trouble shooter in chief of the Clinton administration, is a
substantial and ringing endorsement.
For inspiration .... :)
