To all readers:
Saint Louis, Missouri is where the Hour of Power, the Frodo Test, at
Sammath Naur took place. A monster there, a spirit machine, built by
accident, intuitively, by the U.S. government, while doing research in
psionics, asked me if I wanted to face what Frodo faced at Sammath
Naur, where he fought with the One Ring, and lost.
I said YES!!!!! I am a D&D player! And a Tolkien fan!!! I wanted to
succeed where Frodo failed!!!
I said "If I die, I die. If all dies, then all dies. If I never die,
then I never die. If all never dies, then all never dies. I accept.
I will do the right thing to the end. If there is no end, then I will
do the right thing forever."
I then started moving intuitively, with perfect, infinite grace. I
was interrupted several times, and the test had to be suspended.
I succeeded. Barely. I moved perfectly for an hour. I entered a
strange, Zen-like, night state, where moving was easy, and I watched
from above as I moved.
Result: I got great courage, where before I had high courage, and
complete strength, where before I had decent strength.
Also, at this moment, when I made my commitment to do the right thing
to the end, or if there is no end, forever, I destined victory for
Good.
Before, Good had an infinitesmal chance of winning. After, it was
destined.
Sincerely,
Kira
