I don't think he has any ambition other than to go back to Tibet and
be
the spiritual leader of his followers. Like I said before, his underlings
may have other ambitions to which he might at some time or other turned a
blind eye. I do not consider the DL to be an evil person; in fact I rather
liked him myself. I consider him to be a very sincere human being, but not
necessarily highly intelligent. He may have allowed himself to be used by
the Western Powers promising him various things without fully
understanding
the strings attached. Personally I cannot see a solution to the present
problem, but in time, someone may come with something of which none of us
has though and a peaceful solution achieved.
