Agree. I would also like to add that these tragedies reflect a
broader national and/or international environment. When China ba****ng
and Chinese ba****ng are fa****onable, this kind of tradegy is bound to
happen. For example, the Jewish holocaust had happened as the results
of many years of Jew ba****ng. In America, the Wen Ho Lee case also
reflect the time. Hence the following waning:
"In the late 19th century, Alfred Dreyfus, a Jewish French artillery
officer, was accused of espionage. The evidence was weak but he was
convicted. His conviction included a mass media campaign, which
divided France. The Dreyfus affair was the prelude to the horrible
anti-Senitism of the 20th century. It is my hope that the Lee affair
is not the prelude of a 21 century that includes rampant anti-Chinese
racism." (Robert Vroom, CIA counter intelligence officier)
Not allowing Chinese and/or China ba****ng to become fa****onable is
everyone's responsibility. For his or her own sake as long as he or
she could be identified as ethnic Chinese.
