All this article really says in that in the US, the people have a say
on this issue. First they demanded of our leaders to get tough
on law and order, now they're looking at the bill and wondering
if they went too far. That's why a democracy works better.

In a dictator****p no one really knows anything for certain
let alone has any say in the matter. That's why dictator****ps
can't survive long. There's no give and take forcing solutions
towards the middle. So dictator****ps always end up in
one extreme form or another.

And taking everyone with them as a result.
