---> Olympic Torch Protest in San Francisco...

by dank <dank@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 10, 2008 at 11:37 AM

I attended the official Olympic Torch protest in San Francisco and
had such a wonderful time exercising my right to free speech and
harassing commies.

They changed the torch route at the last moment so almost everyone
missed it, but it didn't really matter because the protest went on.
I suppose there were at least ten or twenty thousand protesters
and a smaller contingent of pro-Beijing agitprops who chanted
"Shame on You!" at them. The Beijing agitprops were largely non-
violent, though I witnessed a scuffle break out between them and
a group of Tibet sup****ters.

I wandered around stoned for hours, waving my little sign that
read "San Francisco welcomes political protesters, Beijing kills
them!" and shouting slogans like "CCP is evil brainwa****ng cult!",
"Outlaw evil communist brainwa****ng cults!", "Re-educate all
members of evil communist brainwa****ng cults!", and so on. I
wish I could have said it in Mandarin because they stood there
all brainwashed and mystified by what I meant. One group of
brainwashed communist ants was yelling "Shame on You!" and then
began chanting something in Chinese with just the right rhythm
to respond with "Brain-wash!", "Ty-rants!", "But-chers!", etc.

Then they had the Beijing Olympic Mascots there, 4 or 5 evil-
looking creatures who were having a hard time whipping the crowd
into the Olympic spirit. Not much to say about them except they
looked evil and probably were Chinese KGB agents in costume.

Finally, while the mayor had promised the torch would at least
appear at the closing ceremony at Embarcadero Plaza if the route
changed, it didn't. There was a concert with some lame-ass
Elton John wannabe who was doing covers of popular songs from
David Bowie and Offspring, and as he concluded his performance
I got the crowd to boo him off stage. Then a ****d man from
the Burma contingent rushed onto the stage and ran around butt
****d (shaved from head to toe and everything in between) while
waving the plain purple flag of the Burma democracy movement.

Then the mayor showed up all furious that the protesters had
ruined his party, so he called in tanks which began rolling
over demonstrators while the police opened fire on those trying
to escape. Those who surrendered were arrested and sentenced to
re-education seminars for patriotic education, while those who
resisted had their organs harvested for sale. Oh wait, wrong
country...
