some people say we should not tie the Olympics with political issues.
so, despite chinese sup****t of the Sudanese government and oppression
of Tibetans, we should separate athletics from politics. (by the way,
how come the very people who call for the boycott of the Beijing
Olympics don't call for banning Sudan and other such nations from
participating in the Olympics? why not ban nations like sudan, north
korea, and cuba from participating?) but, as we all know, the
Olympics have always been politicized, especially in authoritarian/
totalitarian nations. the Nazi Olympics was a Nazi Event. and the
Moscow Olympics was a Soviet Event. and, chinese have done EVERYTHING
to politicize their olympics. it's not just about people from around
the world coming to participate in s****ts. they are coming to
unwittingly lend legitimacy to the chinese communist government. but,
it's not just china. as long as athletes represent their countries,
every s****ting event is politicized. the winner waves the national
flag and the anthem of his country is played. athletes have been used
and exploited by the likes of saddam hussein, kim jong il, castro,
etc. indeed, many such nations have s****ts programs MAINLY for the
purpose of Political than athletic glory.
still, some people say that there is no room for politics in the
Olympics. but, why didn't the world oppose the banning of Apartheid
south africa from the Olympics? but, this brings us to another issue--
that of racial favoritism. why is it that when black people are
oppressed by whites, the nation must be condemned and banned but not
when black people are oppressed by black people--as in many african
nations where one tribe lords over another tribe? and, how come it's
okay when the oppressors are non-white and the oppressed are non-black
or non-jewish. suppose chinese were white. would they have been
given the olympics given their human rights record? or, suppose
tibetans are either black or jewish. suppose the ethnic han majority
in china have been whupping, beating, killing, robbing, brutalizing,
and oppressing jewish or black tibetans. would china have been given
the Olympics? a more im****tant question is would many in the free
world participate in the Olympics. suppose chinese today had a
sizable jewish or black minority and treated it like they treat
tibetans. would george w. bush attend the opening ceremony? would
most US athletes participate in such olympics? i would guess most
blacks would not participate if the oppressed in china were blacks.
and if the oppressed group in china were jews, the jewish-dominated
media would go ape***** 24/7. ALL american and european athletes
would be shamed into not attending the olympics. and most africans
wouldn't attend either. of course, latinos, muslims, and asians might
not care so much.
anyway, why are tibetans less human than jews or blacks? when
tibetans cry out for human rights, they are mercilessly beaten up in
nations like nepal which only care for good relations with china. in
europe, tibetans who try to block the torch relay are treated like
pests and annoyances. if china oppressed jews or chinese, would
jewish or black protestors be treated the same way? i doubt europe or
US would even allow a torch relay in their territories if it were the
jewish or black minority that was being crushed in china. yet,
tibetans are all alone. they are beaten up in china and humiliated
day in and day out. so, they desperately cry out for help in the so-
called free world that claims to care SO MUCH about human rights, but
most of the free world cares more about good relations with an
economic/political giant. if the FREE WORLD and its citizens act this
way, what is the purpose or meaning of human rights? does it all
really come down to power?
jews run much of the media in the US. they should use all their might
to shame the chinese and champion the tibetans. but, most jews in the
US--like others--just wanna do business with china. it took mounting
human rights campaign to discourage spielberg from working for the the
beijing olympics; he didn't decline the position on his own. in a
way, it's unfair to judge jews with an higher moral standard, but it's
unavoidable. jews simply have more power to get the message across.
as the uncle said in Spiderman, 'with great power comes great
responsibility'. jews have more power so they must be held more
responsible since they control what we see, hear, discuss, and read in
the media. we did not force this responsibility onto the jews;
rather, jews freely sought control and power over the media; since
they have the power, they have the responsibility.
tibetans in america have NO power nor control over the US media. all
they can do is go into the streets, pushed away by cops, and beaten
up. they are even jeered by the crowd. jews in the US use their
power to shed light on all the injustices done to jews all over the
world. with greater power comes greater responsibility. as owners of
the US media, jews have more moral responsibility to shed light on the
horrors of chinese treatment of tibetans. tibetans outside china are
like zionists who wanna reclaim their lost homeland. they have little
money, little influence, and little control over powerful institutions
in the media and academia. their only advantage is the likability of
the dalai lama, sup****t by few celebs like richard gere, and
politicians who cynically use the tibetan issue to push china on OTHER
issues.
jews in the US and israel should boycott the chinese olympics in the
name of tibetans and lead the way as a special people who understand
suffering, humiliating, and deprivation. jews have told us over and
over that they are a special people who suffered specially and
specially understand human suffering all around the world. is this
just empty talk or will jews side with the little guy--tibetans--over
the big chinese? only the jews, who run much of our media, have the
power to shed more light on the plight of tibetans. only the jews can
send a LOUD AND CLEAR message to american athletes to boycott this
olympics.
ask black athletes... 'would you participate in the beijing olympics
if chinese treated blacks like they treat tibetans'. ask jewish
athletes(if such there be)and agents... 'would you participate in the
beijing olympics if chinese treated jews like they treat tibetans?'
ask irish-catholic athletes... 'would you participate in the beijing
olympics if chinese treated irish-catholic like they treat tibetans'.
and so on. why is it evil when jews or blacks are mistreated or
oppressed but it's tolerable when such happens to tibetans?
some will say israelis treat palestinians like **** too, but jews at
least have the excuse of national survival. israel is surrounded by
hostile muslims. but, china is not threatened or endangered by hostile
nations. if anything, they are acting in an hostile manner against a
people who are not culturally nor ethnically chinese. heck, we
should ALL be joining in with the exiled tibetans to denounce the
beijing olympics. but, tibetans are not black nor jewish, nor are
they oppressed by whites. so, they don't really matter as human
beings. they are merely regarded as yoda-like mystical beings good
for new age adoration or cable tv commercials. or, they are merely
depicted as party-pooping nuisances ruining our fun. speaking of fun,
how come no one thought to come up with LIVE AID for tibetans. wrong
race. so, all this liberal talk of equality is BS. there is racial
favoritism afoot.
jews are no worse than anyone else but (1) they have more power than
most of us to get the message out and (2) have claimed over and over
that the holocaust has made jews sympathize and stand with the
oppressed of the world. well, i don't see much of this in the US
media dominated by liberal jews. if anything, many left-leaning jews
have made excuses for communist china since 1949. even now, NY Times
will sneak in a few lines implying that china gained much from
communism. so, we are told that women in china have more freedom than
women in taiwan and south korea--or even japan--because communism is
about equality of ***es. in china, neither men nor women can even
vote and are locked up if they openly criticize the government, but
nicolas kristof would have us believe that chinese women have more
freedoms than their counterparts in non-communist asian nations!
or, NY Times will tell us that chinese economic miracle was possible
thanks to the infrastructure built under the mao era. ????? so, how
does that explain the economc miracles of japan, taiwan, south korea,
hong kong, singa****e decades before china when those nations hadn't
been blessed with communism that laid down the necessary
infrastructure?
we may also ask... 'WHAT INFRASTRUCTURE UNDER THE MAO ERA?' mao,
unlike stalin, failed to even develop china into an industrial state.
stalin killed millions but had something to show for it. mao killed
millions and had NOTHING to show for it. EVERY GAIN in china came
AFTER maoism and was largely modeled on the non-communist asian
model.
speaking of asians, shame on all of them. chinese are disgusting
****ers, but so are most asians who still wor****p power and authority
more than human rights or decency. but, what do you expect from a
people who hunt whales, torture dogs, and boil cats alive?
take the japanese. you'd think that with their history of aggression
against other asians, they should tell china not to do likewise
against tibetans. but, there is only silence in japan.
take the koreans. they *****, whine, and complain about their rule
under japanese colonialism; they say the world didn't care. but, do
koreans care about tibetans who are suffering a fate worse than what
koreans suffered under the japanese? koreans forbade dalai lama from
visiting korea. all they care about is business and good relations
with china. even the fact that china backs one of the most murderous
and oppressive regimes--north korea--doesn't bother south koreans.
they don't care that millions of their own kind are being starved or
killed as long as they, south koreans, have something to profit from
trade with china.
and, there is taiwan. what a bunch of lowlife ******ers. on the one
hand, they want independence from china. they resent being bullied by
china. they fear chinese military build-up. they are terrified by
china's saber rattling. they know full well that china is an
oppressive one-party dictator****p. so, you'd think this bunch would
sympathize with tibetans. but, NO. many taiwanese still feel
ethnically chinese, and that means believing in the all-mighty glory
of the han empire. so, what does it matter if tibetans get crushed by
chinese? taiwanese don't wanna be crushed by mainland china, but they
want mainland chinese to crush tibetans.
as for indians, they sup****ted exilted tibetans purely for cynical
reasons when relations between china and india were not good. but,
with india-china ties growing stronger, indians are treating tibetans
like the rest of the world does--as a pesky nuisance. indians marched
and fought for independence from british imperialism but are growing
cozier with chinese imperialists.
as for southeast asian nations, their economies are pretty much
dominated by ethnic chinese. and these lowlife chinese use their
influence to quell any discussion on tibetans.
so, who speaks for tibetans? the only real hope is with europeans and
americans. but, europeans have allowed the torch on their territory
and pushed tibetans aside. and in the US, will most americans join
forces with the oppressed tibetans? will the liberal jewish dominated
media make this a central issue? or, will liberal jews weigh all the
options and decide it's not in their political and economic interest
to alienate china? again, jews in the US need to be more responsible
because they are so powerful. if jews as 2% of the population
controlled only 2% of the media, jews should not be held up to an
higher standard. but, jews control 90% of our media; indeed, jews
actively sought this power and took on this responsibility. liberal
jews control what we see, hear, think, feel, etc. everything we
know about the world outside our family and small community is thru
the media. and liberal jews control it. will the media present
tibetans as merely well-intentioned nuisance deserving just a bit of
our sympathy... of will the media tell the truth?
what is the truth? exiled tibetans are a neglected, tragic, homeless,
and humiliated people who are desperately crying for help. the West
is the ONLY hope they have. remember the scene in Ragtime where a
black woman tries to get the attention of the president to help her
husband who's been racially targeted by bigots? she's not only
neglected but beaten up. and, that is what is happening to tibetans
all over the world. in china, they are crushed, beaten, and
oppressed. in neighboring asian nations, the regimes--fearful of
china--unleash their goons on tibetan protestors who are beaten
mercilessly. in europe, most people care more about the torch
ceremony than about the people who are crying for help and justice.
will it be the same in the US? well, shame on all of us.
now, i don't have any illusions about tibetans. i see all of humanity
as bullies. there are big bullies and little bullies. china is a big
bully and tibet is a little bully. still, every people should have
the freedom to rule over themselves with modi*** of human rights and
dignity. i believe that dalai lama is essentially a good man though
not a saint. and i believe that what tibetans want is not outlandish
but simple and basic--they want self-rule in their own land.
but, tibetans, like kurds, are not a people favored by the world.
there are many americans who call for immediate pullout of US forces
from Iraq even if it may lead to mass slaughter of kurds by turks and
other iraqis. and, most people don't give a crap about tibetans.
but, if we don't care about tibetans and kurds, and IF it's okay to
let them be oppressed or slaughtered, can we make a case for
sup****ting israel? who cares if jews get slaughtered by arabs? why
should we care about jews when we are told over and over that it
doesn't matter if kurds or tibetans get slaughtered? are jews more
human than kurds or tibetans? are blacks more special?
it's not too late to start a campaign asking athletes around the
world... 'would you participate in the Olympics if the Chinese treated
YOUR people like they treat tibetans?' for all the athletes who
choose to participate, let it rest on their conscience that joining
the party and stoking their egos meant more to them than basic human
decency. is this moral blackmail? sure, but if such applies in the
name of jews and blacks, why not in the name of tibetans, a truly weak
and oppressed people without hope.
people like pelosi, obama, and hillary are playing dirty politics.
they are pressuring president bush to not attend the opening ceremony,
but if they REALLY CARE, they should ask ALL athletes--american and
around the world--to boycott the olympics. ask michael phelps, 'would
you participate in the beijing olympics if chinese treated YOUR family
like they treat tibetans? what is more im****tant? winning gold medals
or standing up with oppressed humanity for what is right?
