I agree with the statements above. Being from a Chinese ethnic
background but from China, I can understand the angst and in fact I
share many of angers from the lopsided re****ting and the nit picking
of selective human rights issue but then again, I wonder why the
Chinese as a whole while extremely productive, intelligent, motivated,
family oriented, capitalistic lack the ability to assert themselves on
par with others and face all obstacles and issues with the non-Chinese
like a man or woman and not react from an assumed inferior position.
But then again, from my experience, not all Chinese from mainland
China are acculturated, civil, have a sense of fair play and possesses
good value therefore may give the "foreigners" more ammo to attack the
Chinese people. In fact I know that China right now is fighting these
kind of people as they are the ones who make goods from banned
material, forced child labor, extorting bribes from commoner, smuggle
humans in cargo containers and other unspeakable things that ordinary
Chinese people don't do.
Anyway, to behave like those Tibet activists means that the Chinese
are as bad.

"Westerners" some insight into why the Chinese are pissed off at all
of these hypocrisies.

When we were poor, you think we are dogs.
When we loan you cash, you blame us for your debts.
When we build our industries, you blame us for global warming.
When we sell you goods you can afford, you blame us for dumping
inferior products.
When we buy oil, you called that exploitation and assisting genocide.
When you fight for oil, you called that Liberation of its People.
When we were lost in chaos and rampage, you wanted Rule of Law for us.
When we uphold our law and order against violence, you called that
Violating Human Rights.
When we were silent, you said we have NO FREE SPEECH.
When we are NOW silent no more, you say we are merely =93BRAINWASHED=94.
