Hi Guys,
I believe that I worked with Micky Wong before he returned to North
America.
I do not believe that he is getting paid BUT I do know for sure that
he was born in Shanghai and has had an excellent Technical career
quite divorced from politics. He has had a passion for trying to
inform people of the things going on inside China and commenting on
forums where he believes he can provide an alternative to the official
lines promulgated by PRC sources.
As far as Micky working for the CIA or any other intelligence
organisation, I doubt it very much; because I believe that he would
provide these alternaitve views as a public service free of
remuneration. I also know that he is highly principled from the
numerous discussions that we had over a period of 18 months. I also
know that he dressed down a fellow colleague who was praising China at
the expense of her adopted country - Australia. Micky's response was
that if China is so good, then why doesn't she return there. That is
just how patriotic is was to his own adopted country
Micky's employer actually wanted to send him to China - he chose to
resign from that company and stand by his convictions. What Micky
does, he does with passion and conviction. How many people do you know
that would show such dedication to a single cause?
Possibly only one - and it would have to be Micky Wong.
Why do I come to his defence? It's because of the sup****t that he gave
me when I joined the same company that he was with.
Well Micky - if you ever read this - remember Melbourne
Regards,
