TIbet- China crisis
Haha, thanks for the comment Jannah! Hmm my opinion on Tibet-China
crisis? Alright let me blurt out what i have in my mind.

First of all, we must see the reasons why these things are happening
in Tibet. Why are these Tibetans having riots everywhere in Lhasa, and
also the other parts of the world? The Chinese governement could not
just use the act of violence to instill fear in Tibetans by killing so
that the Tibetans will stop the riots. This will even create more
riots and angers. The more it surpress, the higher it will bounce.
Before the recent riots, there were also riots happening before, i
think around the late 1980's.Tibetans people have been living in hell
since chinese occupy its country. Tibetan are well known for their
trantical Buddhism and their religious way of life. As for chinese
people , mainly communist, they don't believe in religion. Once, Mao
Ze Dong told the Dalai Lama "religion is poison".

Communist promised Tibet they would give religion freedom once it
become part of the China. Look until today, many temples have
destroyed, some even turned into bazaar market, monks have to do their
prayers and chantings in the middle of the busy markets. Once Lhasa
was a holy religous place, now it also has a red light district
activity going on there. Where is this so-called religious freedom
given to the Tibetans? More than 50 years they have been surpressed,
until today. They use this op****tunity of this Beijing olympic to tell
their story, and how they have been suffering for a long time under
this Chinese ruler. So this is my opinion, the underlying/bottomline/
roots of this problem is that Tibetans are not given the religious
freedom. Even in Malaysia, the news of destroying of 100-year-old kuil
without due diligence and proper investigations, definitely it will
create tension among the Hindus.

And another great example given by a writer in Malaysiakini,

Scott Thong Yu Yuen: "As our nation's leader warn against Malaysians
holding protests against the Beijing Olympics, I feel compelled to ask
a pertinent question - what if Thailand had sent its army and tanks
into Malaysia and conquered the entire Peninsula? And then what if
Bangkok were to host the 2020 Olympic Games?

Would Malaysians be all smiley and happy-happy about the Olympic Torch
relay while our country remained occupied as a 'rightful province of
historic Greater Siam'? Would our neighbours keep officially silent
about the gradual replacement of Malaysian multi-culture with Thai
customs and norms, just to stay on the good side of the Thai economic
giant?"

Let's look at another point of view. As I've read in a Times Magazine,
it says, China is a great marketing tool for Tibet. If it wasn't
China, Tibetan Buddhism would not spread worldwide so quickly. Because
of China, people around the world are aware of this religion of
Tibetans and that's one of the reason that Buddhism grows in the
western countries.

Another point of view from my dad as we were discussing last week. He
told me The Dalai Lama is a "wolf in a sheep skin". I asked why do he
said that? 1st reason: Because dalai lama is pro westerners. Dalai
Lama sup****ts western countries, and most western countries sup****t
him too. My dad said that these western countries are using him so
that they can establish their base in Tibet when Tibet were to gain
independent from China. 2nd reason: Because his face looks evil. I was
like er....ok. Hello? looks can be deceiving. So I agree on what he
say, that the westerner might be using him as a bait, but disagree on
his face looks evil. Definitely a no-brainer reason. He said China is
a developed country now and it isn't the same anymore like last time
the communist people. It's a open market contry now. But when i asked
why the Tibetans protest?

He couldn't answer me and blasted me with other facts about China this
China that. Obviously influeced too much by this CCTV (a China-based
news telecast in astro) and also Newspaper. I tell you these days we
cannot trust on the main-stream medias. So much bias and the truth of
a story is always hidden and kept away from the public. Even nowadays
I don't read the Star papers that much, except for those entertainment
part of coz la, haha. SO.. I told my dad, you cannot come out with the
conclusion just based on these 2 medias. You've been missing out the
biggest and also the most influential media: the Internet.

So, conclusion is, China please do something to fulfill your promise,
Tibet please be patient, America please don't interfere
