USA: horrific consumer sentiment

by "Albert K. Fung" <akwfung@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 25, 2008 at 07:38 AM

At quarter of a century low ....

One has to go back to the early 1980 when the USA was at the
thick of sky high inflation and interest rates, to find con-
sumers holding such a dim view about their future.

Main street, USA, appeared to be shaken up and is in shock.

Her spending accounts for 70% of USA's GDP, and, powers that
of the world's. Her wallet, unfortunately, will very likely
be shut tight, either willingly or be forced. Smart money is
better that this will be short lived.

The uSA, afterall, is a half-full nation .... :)

Regards,
