Was the total annual electricity consumption of the People's
Republic of California last year. Of which, 6K+ GWH was from
organic source (biomass power generation).
Therefore, 2% of the state's electricity did grow on trees.
On the other hand, oil fired power plants accounted for only
about 0.1K GWH, or 0.03%. Nuclear, hydro and geothermal form
-ed the backbone of its 7x24 base load. Its coincidental de-
mand was met by outputs from natural gas. solar, wind, tidal
and wave powered plants all over the state.
Electric auto, is one sensible solution .... :)
