In order to free Tibet, you have to liberate the Tibetans from the
oppression by any form of single-employer system such as feudalism/
serfdom/communism. Mao did liberate the Tibetans when PRC was set up
but then the Tibetans were turned into communist slaves again in the
period of extreme leftism. Now Tibetans are being modernized and
there does not seem a better way in kind, albeit a more tolerant/
liberal attitude on the part of the authority could help. Your idea
of 'Free Tibet' means throwing Tibet into chaos visited by a few
innocent European youths...
