In order to decide whether or not Tibet should or should not be
independent, the Beijing government has to ask the other 57 ethnic
groups who are affected by a large piece of land
separating from the whole nation.

What makes you think the native Tibetans have the right to decide
whether Tibet should or should not be independent?  Do the native
Hawaiians have the rights to decide whether or not Hawaii should go
for independence?  What makes you think Tibetans, being simply ONE of
the 58 ethnic groups, should be given that much political previleges?
