Find someplace where he says "never question elders" and prove me wrong.

How many times have you read his works? I read them slowly. It takes me
about 
two years to finish them. Then I start all over. I have read them at least
5 
times.

He is extremely deep. Most of my Chinese friends feel as you do that he is
a 
part of their history that has no value today. On the other hand, some 
Chinese (especially from Singa****e) claim that without him, there would be
no 
Chinese culture.
