I was unaware that we won any wars. To win a war, somebody has to

German household incomes are now more than TWICE as high as ours, and
that's AFTER reunification with a quarter of the country which had
been dumbed down by half a century of communism. And their personal
savings rates are higher than 27%, compared to our NEGATIVE rate.
Japanese household incomes are more than two and probably three times
higher than ours, and the official savings rate of 33% greatly under-
