our government did not refuse any assistance from the
international community. think about it, the roads to the epicenter
are cut off by earthquake, even the plane/helicopter can't land on
those sites, how can the international relief team enter those place!
i think our government did will in this disaster so far, though a
lot of people died-that may unavoidable. form the media, both home and
abroad, the relief action prompt and open, much better that before and
better than the foreign countries.
as far as i know, the relief team from Japan and Taiwan now arrive
in china...
