let's hope that Chinese learn a lesson from their recent terrible

pain and suffering are terrible, and our hearts go out to the chinese
who are suffering in SW china.
but, chinese need to realize that cruelty is evil whether perpetrated
against man or beast.
some highly intelligent animals ought to be spared. and those animals
we eat should be killed humanely.
but, cruelty, coldness, sadism, and inhumanity are part of chinese
culture.
this must stop.    suffering is horrible. for a people who suffered so
much, chinese must realize that one should not unnecessarily cause
suffering for the sake of vanity.  much of animal cruelty in china is
for vain selfish reasons.
koreans, a bunch of barbaric lot,  are no better.
