"India Outsmarts China"
NEITHER INDIA or CHINA will come close to reaching their ECONOMIC
potentials until the MAJORITY POOR populations in those countries are
educated and trained sufficiently to partake of the evolving wealth
and prosperity that the minority now enjoy.
In this, we are probably looking out at least three decades, if not
more. Because among these two nations, some 1.7 billion people are
basically illiterate and employed in 19th century occupations, living
on less than $1.25 a day. Until improvements are effected, these
factors will act as an anchor on national wealth and development.
