It is time for the thought experiment.

Imagine a bridge between China and Taiwan. Anyone can walk along it in
either 
direction, for free, and move to the other country.

Let's predict which direction will have the overwhelming number of
travelers.
What say you Lproudman? Which way will have the most travelers? (Be
careful 
how you answer. A mistake will damage your reputation for integrity.)
