This is too unthinking an assumption. Any lawyer will shudder at the
thought.  The consequences of a patient suing breech of professional
ethich (professionla license at stake) is far worse than any
malpractice suit (it's only money).  In any case malpractice suits are
extremely rare in Singa****e.  It's still a doctor and lawyer mafia
there and will not be sympathetic to suers.   Dr. Tam himself had his
suit going nowhere.

Ah.  Then it is blackmail.  I don't know the laws there but Dr.
Khairul should not have tried to collect that kind of evidence
himself.  That receptionist is an adult and willingly consent. Dr. Tam
hasn't been charged with any criminal activity.  If Dr. Khairul wanted
to dissolve the partner****p he could have confronted Dr. Tam with his
suspicions. The next step would then be to go to court and the
receiptionist  and Dr. Tam will have to tstify under oath.  It likely
wouldn't go that far. Problem settled.
