I know, but I usually let Adam think he's smarter than me because I'm
too jaded to perform electronic wheelies all over the group just to
prove some pointless point...

I've been earning a living in the computer industry since 1993 and am
extremely alert to the garbage other people keep on their computers to
email them to me.  About 600 - 1,500 emails a day pass through my
mailbox at present, among which my firewall and email scanner nail two
to four trojan horses and various worms, usually from the same
sources. I also regularly deepscan my computer to check the registry
entries and software for malware at least once a week. 

The last time I got nailed by a meaningful virus (about two years
ago), it cost me two weeks to get the computer purged with a new hard
drive and O/S  - I simply can't afford that length of downtime and the
hardware costs don't amuse me either.

So if there's any computer here you can be pretty sure won't virus
yours, it's the one that posted this message.
