Frequently. LOL! Actually, he is perfectly correct, IMO. The enforcement
of
the use of Irish as a language is indeed the greatest waste of money,
effort, and human resources yet. Far more im****tant things to throw money
at
in the Republic, such as the Health, sic. "Service", which is just a joke,
reinforcing and improving the Garda Siochana, which needs a great deal to
foster it's credibility in the light of the increase in criminality. Also,
better education. An un-corruptible Civil Service, whatever. As regards
the
native language, why cannot we be like the Welsh? NO enforcement, purely
treated as a personal hobby. The result is most Welsh speak fluent Welsh
Gaelic even though it is useless outside Wales. The greatest sadness is
that
there are vast amounts of money available for all those targets to be
easily
achievable.
