I was referring to re****ts from AI. And you said it was "a pack of
lies.

What PL snipped in his despair:

"Again, the crimes of PL's political masters make any allegations
against Cuba, even taken at face value, look like the proverbial
Sunday school picnic. For example, Amnesty International (and others)
have do***ented the murder and torture of opponents of the Bush regime
in its vast network of secret dungeons around the world."

You said this was "a pack of lies." Do you now mean to say these
re****ts from AI are NOT actually "a pack of lies," and that they are
truthful? Or are you still in denial?

Nothing to distinguish this from the usual scuffles between guards and
unruly prisoners that happen everywhere.

Nothing to distinguish this from the usual scuffles with unruly
prisoners that happen everywhere. Even here in Canada, they have
punishment cells -- solitary confinement in cells not much bigger than
a closet (about 1m x 2m). Some prisoners are kept in such cells for
life. (There was a recent account my my local newspaper.) In the case
of your political masters, however, we are talking about systematic
torture.

Never heard of them. And why won't Amnesty International re****t these
findings, not even as allegations or unconfirmed re****ts? AI isn't
perfect, but they do seem to have some standards of fact checking. The
closest they get in their recent re****ts on the is the "torture" of
being shouted at by angry crowds! Like I said, a Sunday school picnic
compared to the crimes of your political masters.

Very evasive, Mr. Lobbyist. But thanks for finally acknowleging that
AI has condemned your beloved embargo and called for its immediate and
unconditional lifting.

Indeed. Here it is again (your posting):

"Amnesty International believes that the unilateral US embargo against
Cuba contributes to the undermining of key civil and political rights
in the country.

"On these grounds, Amnesty International calls for its immediate
lifting."

Notwithstanding your hysterical screams of denial, Mr. Lobbyist, this
sure sounds like "immedidate and unconditional" to me. Just what
"conditions" do you suppose they are settng here before these cruel
sanctions of yours should be lifted? You can't answer that, can you?
What a loser!
