        It's not just food riots, but there is a revolution on the way. 
It's
the natural consequence of capitalism.  In fact it's the natural
consequence of any system using money as a scarce commodity.
        As far as food goes, when people get hungry enough, they need food
from
wherever they can get it.  As food gets scarce the price goes up and
the poor get hungry and die off if they don't find food somewhere.
        That lie about leftists taking the food from "me" or whoever is so
silly.  Leftists are about people contributing according to their
abilities and taking according to their needs.  People decide
collectively to grow the food and how it is distributed.  Thus leftists
are always prepared and yet don't have food shortages because everybody
is invovled in the planning.
