YANGON, Myanmar - Myanmar's military rulers held a referendum Saturday
aimed at solidifying their hold on power while brazenly turning cyclone
relief efforts into a propaganda campaign. In some cases, generals'
names were scribbled onto boxes of foreign aid before being distributed.
I wish I read a report from Associated Press about the Cuban government,
and see AP calling them by their name, when they do the same thing
Myanmar Military rulers do.
It would be something like that,
HAVANA, Cuba - Cuban military rulers held one party elections aimed at
solidifying their hold on power while brazenly turning cyclone relief
efforts into a propaganda campaign. In some cases, leaders' names were
scribbled onto boxes of foreign aid before being distributed as a
contribution of the Revolution.
But when refering to the military regime in Cuba, they called its
Commander in Chief, "president" and his appointed sucessor, "president"
and the ruling totalitarian Communists, moderates and conservatives,
instead of hawks.
There is no shame!
