You know when you arrived. When a person reaches certain amount of
notoriety and success, he or she will become the target of "lesser"
people. One will automatically have instant enemies. Those
antagonists will call the achiever names, mock him, lie about him and
his life and will berate him at every op****tunity. The truth doesn't
matter.
They will resent him for various reasons: his opinions, money,looks,
fame, you name it. The main motivator is envy. Or simply they
resent him because he stands in the way of their dubious goals and
desires.
This definitely is the case with one of our most successful TV
personas today, the commentator Bill O'Reilly. Prior to his
entrance on the scene, the liberal media had a free run of the place.
They shaped the public opinion completely unopposed .
In my humble opinion, our media even affects our Presidential
election in unprecedented manner nowadays. Years ago William
Clinton, when he ran for the President, he was at first, just an
unknown hayseed from Arkansas. Then suddenly, our media began to
groom him for the role. All of sudden Bill was all over. On every
screen, headlines in newspapers you name it. He became the media
darling. You might not remember it, but I do.
It's happening now again, Hillary is everywhere . It's telling
people, if you want to be on the winner's side, you better vote for
her. To me personally, the best performer during the Democratic
debates was Joe Biden. By far. Yet, the camera is constantly on
Hillary, even though she is as green as a school girl compared to
Biden. She is being groomed. Our media wants her in badly!
The same thing is with Hucklebee, the Republican candidate. Not
very impressive, deeply religious, he doesn't stand the chance
against Hillary. She would eat him for breakfast. The liberal media
knows it and they would love to see him as the Republican candidate
running against Hillary in Novemeber 2008. Notice how he gets more
and more attention from media. All of sudden he is gaining momentum
like an avalanche-causing snow ball. The true Republican
powerhouses, Romney and Giulliani, just get a lot of negative
publicity. And Hillary doesn't have a chance against either one of
them. But our pundits keep talking about Romney's Mormon faith and
Giulliani's dating his present wife before his divorce was final.
(like marital infidelity ever bothered the liberal Democrats)
As I mentioned above, our media runs unopposed. Nobody called them
on their partisan tilt till FoxNews and Bill arrived on the scene.
And he ever call them on all their biased crap. If you listen to him
long enough you realize that he is pretty fair. He was getting on
George W's case all the time last year when the war was not going
well. He belittles extreme right. His great crusade is to protect
our nation's children where he confronts the judges who give ***ual
predators ridiculously lenient sentences. (a few months prison
term for raping a four year old girl for a number of years).
His personal bravado personality does the perfect job to agitate
these individuals so they reveal more than they intended. People
don't get away with bull**** on his show. You might not like his
style but he gets the job done. He was instrumental in getting
Churchill Ward, the commie professor from Colorado, fired.
Churchill was the one who was preaching to kids that we were a nation
of fascists, that 9/11 was something we fully deserved and called
the 9/11 victims the bunch Eichmans. I know that somebody like our
Charles would be saying he was just exercising his freedom of speech,
but I would vehemently disagree.
You cannot lie to our students and call it a freedom of speech.
Yet when you talk to the haters and ask them to name one single
incident where Bill was wrong, or lying, you don't get a SINGLE
example! Why ? Because he is right on and because he is effective.
Yet he is vilified daily by the commentators and political pundits
on daily basis. Keith Oberlmann of NBC doesn 't let a day go by
without attacking or ridiculing him. There are death threats against
him. Jon Stewart and all the other tajtrliks of our liberal media.
They continue to hate him, even here, yet he is out there and calling
it like it is. You just gotta hand it to him, that's why he is my
man. Even if you disagree with his political platform or his style,
you should appreciate that he offers an entirely different view on our
political life. Isn't this what our society is all about? So why so
much hate? He has definitely arrived . He is a great patriot and
fun person. y
